What the upgrade includes

The reference package combines the rotor assemblies and matched pads for the confirmed axle. The signed quotation controls the final inclusions, price and logistics.

Front and/or rear C/SiC rotor assemblies, matched to the verified G63 platform
Matched ceramic-compatible brake-pad set
Vehicle-specific aluminium hats and approved mounting hardware
Configuration for the verified factory or optional forged caliper
Rotor and pad identification linked to the approved vehicle record
Pre-dispatch surface, dimension and hardware inspection
Installation and controlled bedding guidance
Protected worldwide export packing

VIN and factory brakes

Confirm platform generation, existing rotor/caliper package, OEM references and axle requirement.

Wheel clearance

Check barrel diameter, spoke profile and clearance around the full caliper and rotor assembly.

Factory-caliper compatibility

Confirm the pad shape, caliper part number and complete mounting relationship before release.

Professional installation

Complete torque, fluid, leak, bedding and final road-safety procedures with a qualified technician.

How OWNSILENT manufactures C/SiC rotors

Inside the carbon-ceramic production process

These production references document OWNSILENT's general carbon-ceramic manufacturing process — carbon-fibre preparation, preform production and precision machining. They are reference production photography and are not specific to this vehicle.

Carbon fibre creel rack

The frontal view records the organised supply rack used to guide numerous fibre paths toward the textile-processing equipment.

Industrial carbon textile equipment

This wide image documents the integrated machinery and working area without assigning an unsupported proprietary process name.

Parallel fibre path detail

The closer viewpoint makes the density and direction of the individual fibre paths visible across the working width.

Frequently asked questions

G63 carbon-ceramic upgrade, explained

Why upgrade a G63 to carbon-ceramic brakes?+

The G-Class carries significant unsprung and rotational mass; a carbon-ceramic upgrade reduces rotor weight substantially, improves fade resistance under sustained heavy use, and resists the corrosion that affects iron rotors over time.

Does this fit both the W463 and W464 G63?+

No single dimension covers both generations. Rotor diameter, thickness, offset, hat depth and caliper clearance are confirmed against the verified platform and VIN before production.

Can the factory calipers be retained?+

In many applications the upgrade is engineered around the verified factory caliper. Optional forged calipers can be quoted where bracket design, hydraulic balance and wheel-barrel clearance support the conversion.

Is this a direct bolt-on upgrade?+

The rotor and hardware are engineered to the confirmed factory mounting relationship, but professional installation, torque checks and bedding remain required for a safe conversion.

What information should I send for a quotation?+

Send the VIN, model year, wheel size, clear photographs of the current rotors and calipers, and any OEM part numbers visible on the components.

Who should install the upgrade?+

Installation, torque procedures, brake-fluid checks, bedding and final road-safety inspection must be completed by a qualified brake technician.
