What Is the Graffiti Rolls-Royce Cullinan?
The Graffiti Cullinan is a limited Rolls-Royce project created with French artist Cyril Kongo.
Instead of adding artwork to only one part of the vehicle, Kongo’s distinctive style appears throughout the exterior and cabin. It can be seen on the coachline, dashboard, centre console, picnic tables, door panels and Starlight Headliner.
All five vehicles were allocated to clients, making this one of the rarest versions of the Black Badge Cullinan.
Who Is Cyril Kongo?
Cyril Kongo is a French contemporary artist who began his career creating graffiti on the streets of Paris.
Over several decades, his work has expanded into galleries, fashion and luxury design. His colourful visual style combines letters, numbers, planets, pyramids, atoms and abstract symbols.
Kongo calls this artistic universe the “Kongoverse,” and elements of it appear throughout the Cullinan.
Blue Crystal Over Black Paint
The Cullinan is finished in a special colour called Blue Crystal Over Black.
In low light, the exterior appears almost black. Under direct sunlight, deep blue tones become visible beneath the surface. The colour changes as the vehicle moves through different lighting conditions.
Rolls-Royce’s First Gradient Coachline
One of the most distinctive exterior details is the hand-painted gradient coachline.
Unlike a traditional single-colour coachline, this one gradually changes between multiple colours. One side transitions from red to yellow, while the other moves from orange into blue-green.
Cyril Kongo’s signature is also painted directly into the line.
Four Different Brake-Caliper Colours
Behind the 23-inch wheels, each brake caliper is finished in a different colour.
This unusual detail connects the wheels and braking system to the car’s wider artistic theme. Bright flashes of colour become visible through the wheels as the Cullinan moves.
A Hand-Painted Interior
The most elaborate artwork is found inside the cabin.
Kongo hand-painted several interior surfaces, including the dashboard, centre console, rear picnic tables and the panel between the rear seats. Airbrush techniques were used to create the finer details.
The finished artwork was protected beneath approximately ten layers of clear lacquer. This gives the painted surfaces visual depth while helping preserve the artwork.
Kongo’s signature also appears in discreet places around the vehicle, including the sun visor, luggage compartment and embroidered door panels.
The Kongoverse Starlight Headliner
The Starlight Headliner is one of the most impressive features of the project.
Kongo’s artwork extends across the roof and incorporates 1,344 individual fibre-optic lights. The location and colour of each illuminated point were carefully selected to become part of the overall design.
The roof also contains eight shooting stars. One travels almost the entire length of the headliner, creating a dramatic illuminated effect across the cabin.

Why Is It the Wildest Cullinan?
The engine was not modified, so the car’s character does not come from additional speed or power.
What makes it extraordinary is the way the entire Cullinan has been treated as an artistic canvas. The gradient coachline, coloured brake calipers, hand-painted woodwork, embroidery and illuminated roof all form part of one coordinated design.
The Cyril Kongo Cullinan shows how traditional Rolls-Royce craftsmanship can be combined with bold contemporary art to create something completely individual.
