Carbon Textile Processing and Tow Alignment

Parallel fibre paths enter wide textile-processing equipment before the prepared material leaves the working area. Alignment, working width and controlled process records govern this stage; proprietary machine parameters require production confirmation.

01

Parallel tow architecture

Numerous fibre paths are held in a consistent direction across the machine width. This visible organisation contributes to the repeatable architecture required for later preform work.

02

Continuous material movement

Rollers support the broad material as it travels through the line. Operators must monitor visible tracking, edge condition and material continuity between stations.

03

Controlled production records

Machine speed, tow tension, fibre specification and acceptance limits cannot be recovered from appearance. These belong in the controlled manufacturing record.

Materials, equipment and inspection checkpoints are organised by manufacturing stage. Dimensions and acceptance values remain tied to controlled production records.

The intersecting strands provide a close view of the textile architecture. Fibre grade and composition require source records.

Frequently asked questions

Which manufacturing parameters require controlled production records?+

Material grade, machine settings, tolerances and acceptance results require controlled production records and measured inspection results.

Do the visible preform sizes identify a specific vehicle?+

No. Vehicle application is approved only after VIN, axle, brake hardware and wheel-clearance review.

Are unpictured furnace or silicon-infiltration stages being claimed?+

Carbonisation and silicon infiltration require confirmed process records and are outside this stage.
